Passionate Defender With Real-World Experience

Christina Contreras grew up in the Rio Grande Valley, only a few minutes from the Texas–Mexico border. From a young age, she witnessed the struggles faced by individuals and families without legal status, which inspired her lifelong dedication to immigrant rights. Seeing friends and neighbors suffer from exploitation and limited opportunities strengthened her resolve to pursue a career in law.

While studying at Texas A&M School of Law in Fort Worth, Christina deepened her understanding of the systemic challenges within U.S. immigration law. She saw how intimidating and complicated the process can be for immigrants, especially when they must stand against the federal government without proper legal guidance.
