Before becoming an attorney, he worked the streets as an Arlington police officer, trained new recruits as an academy instructor, and served as a use-of-force reporting expert. His time in law enforcement gave him a practical edge—and a nomination for Rookie of the Year.
He’s licensed by the State Bar of Texas and the Northern District of Texas. After leaving the force, Cody worked as a prosecutor in Tarrant County and later at a nationally recognized AmLaw 100 firm. Now, he’s back doing defense work—where he believes real impact happens.
